Information we collect

BookMyCleaning may collect provider identity and contact information, account credentials, auth-provider details, business or profile details, service areas, specialties, payout contact details, phone verification records, addresses, postal codes, geolocation details submitted through address tools, and documents or messages you submit during verification or support.

We also collect technical and usage information such as IP address, user agent, session activity, accepted agreement versions, timestamps, accepted paths, and related audit evidence when you create or update your provider account.

How we use provider information

We use provider information to create and maintain your account, verify contact details, support cleaner onboarding, enable customer matching, administer bookings, process or coordinate payouts, respond to support issues, investigate fraud or misuse, enforce platform rules, and improve service quality and marketplace operations.

Information may also be used to communicate important operational notices, booking updates, security alerts, verification requests, policy changes, and other service-related messages.

Location, verification, and operational data

If you provide an operating or home-base address, we may use Google Places or similar services to help normalize the address, postal code, place identifier, and location coordinates. We use this data for service-area validation, admin records, fraud review, operational support, and marketplace quality control.

Phone verification and agreement-acceptance evidence are collected to secure accounts, confirm contactability, and maintain a defensible compliance record of who accepted which terms and when.

Disclosures and service providers

BookMyCleaning may disclose provider information to service providers that support authentication, messaging, address lookup, hosting, analytics, customer support, payment operations, or other core platform functions, subject to appropriate contractual and security controls.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, enforce agreements, protect BookMyCleaning, customers, or providers, comply with lawful process, or respond to disputes, chargebacks, or safety incidents.

Retention and protection

We retain provider information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, maintain required business records, investigate disputes, comply with legal obligations, and preserve audit evidence tied to bookings, payouts, or accepted legal terms.

BookMyCleaning uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect provider information, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and future background checks

You may request access to or correction of certain provider information by contacting BookMyCleaning support. Some records may be retained where required for legal, audit, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.

If BookMyCleaning later introduces background checks for certain jobs or platform features, we will request separate written consent before any such check is initiated and will update this policy to explain the process, purpose, disclosures, and retention practices.
