Provider Terms of Service

Independent contractor relationship

You participate in the BookMyCleaning provider programme as an independent contractor and not as an employee, partner, joint venturer, franchisee, or agent of BookMyCleaning. You remain responsible for how you organize your business, workforce, tools, scheduling, and tax affairs, subject to the platform requirements you accept.

Nothing in this draft is intended to waive mandatory legal rights or permit worker misclassification. Ontario counsel should review the final contractor language before production enforcement.

Business responsibilities and taxes

You are responsible for all income reporting, payroll obligations, remittances, insurance, licensing, permits, worker classification decisions, and other legal obligations associated with your business and any personnel you use to perform services.

You must maintain any equipment, supplies, transport arrangements, and operational capacity needed to perform accepted work safely and professionally unless BookMyCleaning expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Helpers, subcontracting, and quality control

You may not delegate, subcontract, or assign BookMyCleaning work to another person unless BookMyCleaning permits that arrangement and you remain fully responsible for the service quality, conduct, confidentiality, safety, and legal compliance of anyone you involve.

BookMyCleaning may require additional verification, insurance proof, or operational controls before helpers or team members can participate in customer-facing work sourced through the platform.

Confidentiality and customer information

Customer details, booking information, platform data, pricing information, internal processes, and non-public operational information obtained through BookMyCleaning must be treated as confidential and used only for authorized platform purposes.

Customer-introduction protections, off-platform restrictions, and misuse prohibitions remain governed by the Cleaner Platform Rules and any related marketplace policies adopted by BookMyCleaning.

Programme termination and payout administration

BookMyCleaning may suspend or terminate programme participation if you violate platform policies, create safety or trust concerns, fail verification or compliance requirements, or otherwise present material operational or legal risk.

Final production terms should specify payout timing, adjustment rights, dispute handling, and post-termination obligations after Ontario counsel review.
